Jerry Rockwell is one of a handful of folk
musicians who has been a national & international
advocate for the mountain dulcimer He is known for
his beautifully hand crafted instruments & his
musicianship. He can play a simple sweet song then,
in the next set, the mountain dulcimer rings with
jazzy |
rhythms or some other style of music. Jerry will
travel to Iceland in July 2007 for the Siglufjordur
Folk Festival to lecture about & play the mountain
dulcimer. This year, Jerry’s sessions are:Descending
Base Lines
(I/A)
&
Simple Folk Songs to Sing & Play
(all levels). Both sessions are in the DAD tuning.

Workshops
on Saturday for mountain and hammered dulcimer, harmonica,
autoharp, singing and other areas of interest. Sunday hymn sing.
